Biolife When Do I Get Money

Sina, what's in your backpack? Marathon Barcelona 2011

participate in a 7-day trial in SELF-created much interest. Is not usually pay much attention to think what goes in the backpack, but when you have around you that you will engage in a test of these features people want to know we carry and how it is possible for so many days full with everything (except water). Well, I would explained.

Keep in mind that there is a "binding material" and since then everyone is free to carry as it deems appropriate, taking into account at the time of verification of material, the backpack should not weigh less of 6.5 kg and a maximum of 15kg.

In my case I think the minimum necessary, forgetting completely any kind of luxury, yet the backpack on the first day, outlining a long, reach about 8-9kg without water.

The binding material is:

- food. 14,000 kcal (2,000 per day). Freeze-dried food is basically what is necessary to create a suitable to take while running.

In my case, some sticks or similar during the period, isotonic carbohydrate to be diluted in water, freeze-dried for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and "extra" few packets of 50g of Iberian ham and parmesan.

food takes the largest percentage of the total weight of the backpack. Tweaking the most, I go and here I was about 4 kg.

- stove with their pills, the pot to heat water and a plastic spoon.
- Backpack . I carry the Raidlight with 20L capacity. in the rear and 4l. in the front.

- sleeping bag. Ferrino Lightec 750 gr.

- Front + batteries.
- 10 captive

- Compass

- Lighter . And by the way I advertise, hehe

- metal knife. Swiss army knife, small and very light.

- Antiseptic skin. I have not yet defined.

- Aspira-venom.

- Whistle - Mirror signaling and survival blanket.

And we finished with the binding material, we have to take it or yes because otherwise we would be penalized.
Of course, there is much material which, although not stated as "must" have also bought:
- Watch . I'm still hesitating to take the Suunto or Garmin GPS. I'd rather take the Garmin, but I have to add a solar charger, but the information I get is much more complete.
- Cap desert. Salomon

- Clothing & accessories for running: Oakley Radar Polarized Lens, Long Sleeve to the desert Raidlight specific, short-sleeved shirt Salomon, buff, tight shorts and 3 pairs socks Zoot Injinji .

- Footwear . I opted to run for the Salomon XRCrossmax1, which must be covered with their gaiters to keep out sand. I need to define that bring shoes to walk through the camp, something comfortable but very very light, any ideas?

- Clothing being at camp . I have neither defined 100% but after evaluating many options in the end I think decantare so always told you never would, hahaha. A monkey very very light and takes up very little space (paper-like) and at the same time I like because I guess with the heat that is more like to carry things loose and comfortable.

- Mat. Thermarest . Finite, light and bouncy.

- kit. And here I include retrievers, ibuprofen & similar, Vaseline, a packet of wet wipes, betadine, thread, needle and one more thing ...

do you think?? I like my bag? Psssss, nothing! Basics to go for a ride!

And if that was not enough, there is still adding to what the organization will give us once there:

- The emergency beacon (Racetrack), Roadbook and salt tablets.

You see many things that seem (and are) but in reality I think is the minimum necessary.

Ala, and I'm tired I just remember everything I have to lead! :)
